Toronto-based artist run record label Stereo Ferment are back with another Cellar Sessions with guest curator: Dacou.
“When I was invited by label boss Oreku to drop a mix for the Cellar Sessions series, I had just landed upon a goldmine of disco/folk heavy 80s and 90s cassettes and had been engulfed in a wave of retro nostalgia. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to translate those vibes into a mix for Stereo Ferment featuring a variety of dance floor worthy vintage cuts from around the globe - a fermentation of cross-cultural sounds.”
