Do I need a laptop or phone to broadcast?

No. Pair Blast Mic once via the Blast Radio app, then a single press on the device sends you live. Your phone and laptop are free to do anything else, or nothing at all.

Can I plug in an external microphone?

Yes. Two 3.5mm inputs with 3-volt phantom power accept external electret microphones, each with its own gain control. There's also a line-in input for connecting any standard audio source.

Can I talk over music?

Yes. Blast Mic has a built-in ducking feature: when you start speaking, the onboard mic unmutes and the line-level music ducks down automatically. When you stop, the music returns to level.

Can I edit broadcasts after they go live?

Yes. Every broadcast is archived in lossless and downloadable as a .wav from your profile. Trim, hide, or keep them, they're yours.
